SMS Terms

These terms cover the Text Atlas program: text messages from Phone Hseng, an individual, and Atlas, his personal AI assistant, sent from one phone number.

The program

Text Atlas is a personal, two-way texting program. When you opt in, you may get texts that Phone writes or approves, and replies from Atlas when you text: when Phone is free or busy (times only), requests to add events to his calendar (Phone approves each one), and answers about his public projects, résumé and interests. There is no marketing.

Opting in

Text START or JOIN to (628) 313-2194 (the program's number, also listed on phonehseng.com/sms), then reply Y to confirm. If you text the number first without opting in, you may get replies to your own messages only.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with how much you're in touch. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details. Phone does not charge you anything for this program.

Help and opting out

Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; you'll get one message confirming you've opted out and no further texts after that. To join again, text START.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

How your number and messages are handled is described in the Privacy Policy. Your mobile number and opt-in are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date. Phone may end the program at any time.
